Report Dec 7, 2009......Pictured from Left to Right are Chris Wachsmann of Bay City, Bubba Beyer of Houston, Nathan Giessinger of Milbank, South Dakota, and Ryan Kasten from Austin with their limits of Red fish (12). The fish were caught on Gulps and Exude Baits fished on 1/8 oz. lead heads. The fish were caught in the Intracoastal Canal. We also fished East Bay trying for some Trout, but didn't have any success. I think the water was just too cold. We hit another spot in the canal on the way in and caught and released two more 26" Reds. The smallest Red was 24" and two that measured almost 28" weighed over nine pounds on a Boga Grip. The Group had driven to Matagorda, Friday from Houston in the Snow and Rain. Saturday turned out to be a little cool, but the sun came out and it turned out to be a pretty day.
