Mainstream Marketing - Nu-Mark - El Pescador Boats   April 24, 2008.....Pictured Left to Right with 10 trout and 1 red are Carl Strauss, Scott Oakes, Jim Greathouse, and Carl Metzroth. The fish were caught on live shrimp drifting in East Matagorda Bay fishing with Capt. Don Wood. Carl Strauss caught the largest trout which measured just under 25" and Carl Metzroth caught the 26" red. It was very windy and had the water off color, but we fought the elements until about 2 p.m. and the guys said they were ready, so we headed to the Harbor to clean fish and get out of the wind.  April 8, 2008.....Robert Rabalais pictured with a limit of specks and reds caught wading West Matagorda Bay fishing with Capt. Don Wood. The fish were caught on Top-Waters and Bass- Assassins. Rob's largest red measured 27 3/4" and was caught at our last stop. We released several more legal trout and some under size reds. The day started with lite southeast wind but it was over 20m.p.h. when we headed to the Harbor at 2:30p.m.
