Capt. Wood fishes the Matagorda Bay Complex consisting of both East and West Matagorda Bays, the Matagorda Beach Surf and the Colorado River.
Capt. Wood specializes in fishing with artificial lures, both soft plastic and top-waters, which he provides for his clients. While fishing with Capt. Wood, you will be aboard his 24 ft. El Pescador powered by a 2006 SUZUKI 175 hp 4 stroke outboard ensuring you get to your fishing area quickly and safely. Capt. Wood can accomodate one to four persons on his boat. For larger groups, other qualified guides will be provided.







Full Day Trip
$500 for 1 to 3 persons
($50 for each additional person)
Sunrise until 3:30 pm

Half Day Trip
$400 for 1 to 3 persons
($50 for each additional person)
Sunrise until 11:30 am
$100 Deposit Required for each trip.
If trip is cancel due to Weather conditions, trip will be rescheduled for another date.
