Matagorda Charter Boats has been a full time guide service for 30 years and was the first and only guide service in Matagorda for 20 years. Born and raised in Matagorda, "Redfish" Raymond Cox has fished with grandfathers who were life-time residents of Matagorda. Altogether, over 50 years of fishing experience on the waters of the Matagorda Bay Complex. Matagorda Charter Boats runs two large boats with captain chairs for everyone to sit. Catering to children, novice fisherman, and the "mature generation", the boat ride to the fishing grounds is short and comfortable.
