About Capt. "Thiggy":

Capt. David "Thiggy" Thigpen has grown up fishing the Matagorda, Palacios and Port O'Connor areas and has more than 25 years of experience to share with you. He has his USCG license and is TP&W licensed.

With his vast experience of the bay systems on which you will be fishing or hunting, you are assured a fun, safe and exciting outdoor adventure.

Areas Fished:

Capt. David "Thiggy" Thigpen fishes both East and West Matagorda Bays, the Port O'Connor Bays and Jetties, Land Cut - Port Mansfield and Lower Laguna Madre. Also, the Palacios and Carancahua Bay areas.

Hunting trips are available as well as Combination
Hunting-fishing trip.

"Jetty Special"

Capt Thiggy's "Jetty Special" takes you after Bull Reds, Trophy Trout, plus Tarpon and Kingfish at the Port O'Connor Jetties.

You will be fishing from either Capt. Thiggy's new Sea Pro 23' or his 18' Shallow Sport. Both boats equipped with GPS, VHF radio and meet all Coast Guard safety requirements. When bay fishing, you can fish from the boat or wade fish.
